Over the past few months we've raised £2,275 for Volunteer Glasgow, a charity that makes it easier for people living in Glasgow City to volunteer and have a positive impact on third sector organisations that need their help. Volunteer Glasgow do incredible work for the community through providing community-based Befriending and Mentoring Services for young people facing significant difficulties in their lives.

Our Glasgow Relationship Centre raised funds for this fantastic cause, donating £1 to Volunteer Glasgow for every member who participated in our AGM in May, whether in person or through online and postal votes.

On Wednesday 24 July Derek and David from Volunteer Glasgow, along with Hunter, one of the young people supported by the Young Persons Befriending Service , visited our Glasgow Relationship Centre to meet our team.

It was a pleasure to meet them and support the incredible work they and their volunteer Befrienders do for the Glasgow community.
