On Saturday, 19 October, we proudly hosted the third Scottish Building Society Inclusive Festival.

The event took place before Edinburgh Rugby’s impressive win against Cardiff Rugby at Hive Stadium.

There was great excitement as over 100 players from five incredible teams—Edinburgh Inclusive Rugby Team, Ayrshire Clan, Borders Clan, Fife Clan, and Strathie Clan—went head-to-head in the inclusive tournament.  Their passion and love for the sport was very clear to see. It was a very special day for the players, coaches and their families.

To help highlight the importance of inclusive rugby, members from each team had the honour of delivering the match ball ahead of Edinburgh Rugby v Cardiff Rugby. It was a truly special moment, reflecting Edinburgh Rugby's commitment to inclusivity and community spirit.

Paul Denton, Scottish Building Society Chief Executive Officer, expressed his pride in supporting the third Scottish Building Society inclusive festival:

"We're thrilled to support the return of the Scottish Building Society inclusive festival. This event not only showcases the incredible talents of the teams but highlights the importance of inclusive rugby.

“It was a memorable day for all involved, and a great way to celebrate the spirit of community and sportsmanship that defines this tournament."
