We are helping mitigate our own carbon footprint by supporting Trees For Life's pioneering conservation work on the Caledonian Forest.
From small beginnings, the charity has planted two million native trees in this globally unique habitat. Through this, it also helps reintroduce lost species such as the red squirrel and inspires volunteers of all ages to get involved in rewilding.
As Scotland’s building society we understand our responsibilities as a corporate citizen to reduce our carbon footprint. This ranges from looking at the ways we can limit the impact we have on the environment, to launching products to help customers make their homes and properties more energy efficient and sustainable.
The Trees For Life partnership is just one of a range of green initiatives from the Society in a year that will see the world’s spotlight fall on Scotland when Glasgow hosts COP26.
