We held our AGM on Wednesday 17 May 2023 at Edinburgh City Chambers. We had a fantastic turnout from our members across Scotland and parts of England - all keen to understand more about the society.
To celebrate our 175th anniversary, members had the chance to hear the Edinburgh Makar perform a specially commissioned poem about our people and purpose, meet our Board over refreshments and receive a copy of our history book.
It really was a special event and we were delighted that so many of our members and colleagues both past and present came along on the day, including long serving chairman of the society, Peter Brown.
