Staff and members at our Glasgow Branch voted to support Breast Cancer Care as their Charity of the Year in 2019.

Breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK. It mainly affects women, but in rare cases men can get breast cancer too. Breast cancer can cause symptoms such as a lump. However, a lump is not the only symptom of breast cancer. The earlier breast cancer is diagnosed, the easier it is to treat.

Breast Cancer Care puts people with breast cancer first. Their community of nurses, volunteers and people affected by breast cancer work to make sure everyone diagnosed with breast cancer gets the support they deserve.

Together, they responded to 5.8 million counts of breast cancer support requests last year.
