Staying informed about fraud and scams can be difficult as it’s constantly evolving. To support our members, we launched the Fighting Fraud with take 5 Vodcast in collaboration with Take 5. This vodcast aims to educate people to be able to identify and protect themselves from various types of fraud and scams.

In addition to this, we hosted two fraud awareness events at our Edinburgh and Glasgow Relationship Centres These events provided our members with valuable knowledge on recognising scams and safeguarding their finances. Members had the opportunity to engage with experts and gain practical tips on how to stay safe and protect themselves from scammers.

We were lucky enough to have Police Scotland attend our Edinburgh event, they covered a range of topics, including the latest scam tactics and effective prevention measures. Our Glasgow event was equally impactful, with an interactive Q&A session and real-life examples of common scams. Members left with a deeper understanding of how to protect themselves from fraudulent activities.
