Lily was nominated by her coach at North Berwick RFC to be Edinburgh Rugby's mascot for the 1872 Cup decider last Friday, 30 December.
With Edinburgh Rugby and Glasgow Warriors celebrating the 150th anniversary of the first-ever match between the two sides. It was a much anticipated game.
We wanted to give our mascot position to someone with passion and dedication to rugby. Lily has played for North Berwick RFC for 6 years and is now scrumhalf in their u12 team.
The opportunity allowed her to meet the Edinburgh Rugby squad and lead them onto the BT Murrayfield pitch.
We hope Lily had a great experience and that it inspires her, to keep playing rugby.
